Reggae music has spawned a global movement of redemption for mankind and we cannot forget the roots… From the coronation of Haile Selassie I to the earliest Nyabinghi Ises in the hills of Jamaica a flame of Afrikan liberation was lit that inspired many messengers to come forward and share the powers of word and sound. This mix is a testament of and a tribute to the singers and players who set the foundations of Rastafari roots music.
